Every interaction, from being fed to hanging out with us like one of our own our formal training sessions are meticulously crafted for optimal learning. We prioritizes socialization with well-behaved, safe dogs, ensuring each pet is treated as part of our family. Our approach is built on establishing a trusting, fun bond with dogs, fostering teamwork rather than mere obedience. This isn’t about commands without reason; it's about working together for a positive outcome. Unlike many companies, The Grateful Dog NW refrains from defaulting to e-collars or 'shock' collars, except in rare, high-level obedience scenarios. Our training methodology, honed through guidance from top-notch trainers, emphasizes positive reinforcement, making the learning process enjoyable for dogs. Basic Obedience - Home Management and Behavior Modification

Behavior modification

Focused on reactive and aggressive dogs. Here we will formulate a plan to give the dogs more confidence and tools to navigate feelings they may have. It can come from one bad experience and carry on through years to follow. I will use my skills and my dogs to show your dog that they can trust a situation and listen to you. I will also teach you proper techniques to handle your dog and a situation to properly show your partner that you have their back.

Evaluations

Puppy foundations 30-45minute

Puppies are sponges and are waiting to have their confidence built up. A confident dog is far less dangerous than a nervous or scared dog! Dogs live in a fast-paced, at times overwhelming human-shaped world. I excel in building a dog’s self-assurance by giving the dog the tools and ability to navigate what could be thought of by the dog in a stressful or intimidating situation. From everyday rules and boundaries to obedience foundation, your puppy will be shown a new way to look at their world! By taking a puppy that has not experienced a lot and giving them the tools and rules to confidently navigate the world that they live in, I will build a communication system for you and your dog to learn together. Puppies are fun and cute and it can be easy to let them get away with things you may not allow an older dog to. This is where a strong foundation can be helpful. Dogs inherently want a leader within the pack. With my system, you can become the leader, but more so become their partner. I like my dogs to work with me, not for me. •virtual puppy lesson $100
